Phil Lye is married to Janine and together they have 3 adult daughters; Rebecca, Amy and Jessica of whom they are proud of.
Phil is a national and international human resource management and industrial relations specialist. As Managing Director and Principal Consultant of Biz Momentum, a professional services business, Biz Momentum offers services Australia wide and Internationally in HR, IR, Change Management, Health & Safety and Technology Research. We are specialists in risk management of HR & IR issue for the corporate sector.
Phil is associated with Hoben Associates in the USA as the Pacific Rim Associate. Hoben Associates is a specialist consultancy and research group of hand picked professionals who provide strategic management and research data and other services to industry.
Phil is a popular conference and seminar speaker and recently spoke at the ASHRM International Conference in Sharm el Sheik, Egypt in 2008.
Phil is qualified in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, Business Management, Health & Safety and Accounting. He is a qualified Accountant though not in practice.
Hobbies include languages, reading, writing, travel and biblical studies.

- General Manager of IT and retail businesses.
- Senior Manager - Research & Development Institute.
- 12 years in banking and finance including transfer pricing, tax, project and structured finance, derivatives, futures, swaps, FRA, options and venture capital.
- traded three company’s from impending insolvency and bankruptcy to profitability.

- Board member of a number of charities and volunteer worker for charity.
