Back From the Brink:

A business that operated several sites in Queensland, Australia was facing bankruptcy due to serious employee and business issues.  Problems included the threat of wild-cat strikes; employee unrest over remuneration & conditions; workplace health & safety concerns; cash flow issues and eroding product margins.

biz-momentum worked with the owner of the business to bring about a swift resolution of union and employee issues. Discussions with the union resulted in addressing employer and employee concerns and the development of a Certified Agreement that provided employer and employee flexibility; call-out rosters where employees covered for each other when sick, on a swap system, without penalties; increased pay and conditions linked to measurable key performance indicators; master contract clauses .

By introducing a Certified Agreement, addressing employer and employee needs, productivity increased and cash flow improved. Workplace health & safety concerns were also addressed, with all parties involved, resulting in positive change.
